About Us

About UsFounded in 2005, The Manus Club was established to enhance collegiality and foster innovation among the next generation of leaders in the field of hand & upper extremity surgery. Manus Club members are fellowship-trained board certified surgeons who specialize in the treatment of hand & upper extremity related conditions. In addition to their respective specialty board certifications, each member has earned added qualifications in surgery of the hand (CAQSH). The membership includes leaders in scientific research and medical education as well as exceptionally talented private practitioners. The Manus Club meets annually to share experiences from recent clinical cases and to review the latest scientific research, all in an effort to decrease the learning curve in a rapidly changing world of medicine. Members also gather during the annual meetings for the ASSH, AAHS and AAOS to review the latest medical and surgical technology and to share how these new developments have impacted their practice and patient care. Our meetings often stimulate new product development and research studies. Ultimately, Manus meetings and weekly correspondence about complex cases help members to provide the highest level of care for their patients. Each Manus Club member has a strong commitment to advancing the field of hand & upper extremity surgery, and improving the quality of health care delivery around the world.
